The Jupiter 9 is one of the most famous vintage 85mm lenses you can find. It's a Russian prime replica of the Carl Zeiss Sonnar design. Manufactured in different common lens mounts over several decades, it is still highly appreciated by portraiture photographers nowadays especially the more "recent" versions which offer good build quality, a very smooth focus ring and an excellent bokeh and out of focus rendition. The double preset aperture provides a declicked aperture ring for videographers.
This particular copy is an early silver version from 1966. It has been fully restored, greased, cleaned and lubricated, and is in absolutely mint condition. A joy to use !
