First manufactured in 1982, the CONTAX 137MA Quartz is an incredible feat of engineering : with its brother the Contax MD, they were the smallest SLRs with integrated motor drive at the time. This means that the 137MA is capable of 3 fps continuous shooting without the addition of a motor drive.
With a built-in aperture-priority mode and full manual mode and 1/1000 shutter speed, it is also a very capable camera that takes its "Quartz" name from the use of a quartz element to time the shutter release, another first for any camera.
The C/Y mount allows you to use amazing glass from Zeiss (the Contax Zeiss series) or from Yashica.
While the camera body is a bit heavy due to the required 4xAA batteries, it is very comfortable and pratical to use in real life.
