The Meyer Optik Gorlitz TRIOPLAN 100mm f2.8 is one of those iconic lenses that everyone should try and own at one point in time : its very unique bokeh, combined with a long focal length, make it a perfect lens for amazing portraits or flower/nature shots.
Just like the Biotar, it is a lens with a very recognisable character : the bokeh balls have very pronounced edges just like "soap bubbles".
Due to its success the company released a new version a couple of years ago but the classic/old version remains a very prized collector item.
