The Zenit ET is a typical Russian camera with their advantages and drawbacks : its a bit heavier and larger than standard 35mm cameras, has very square looks, basic controls and is fully manual (no aperture or shutter priority mode), but on the other hand it uses the very common M42 mount which has countless great lenses (including the Takumar series and the Helios series), and the light meter is powered by a Selenium cell which means that you dont require any battery.
Shutter speed is a reasonable 1/500th.
