Description

A sister company of DZOFILM, Thypoch builds on a decade of industrial optical expertise and precision craftsmanship to create mirrorless lenses that blend character and high resolution for today's sensors.

The Simera series, meaning "today" in Greek, is crafted for professional photographers seeking exceptional performance. With F/1.4 prime lenses featuring multiple special elements and FLE design, the series delivers stunning resolution and a cinematic aesthetic. Its 14-16 aperture blades create smooth, dreamy bokeh, making it a high-quality, fast-aperture collection for modern visual storytelling.

Redefining Environmental Portraits

The Simera 35mm redefines the iconic focal length through advanced optical engineering, crafted for creators seeking modern precision and artistic expression. Its f/1.4 aperture and 14-blade diaphragm deliver cinematic bokeh and smooth out-of-focus transitions, while the floating element design ensures exceptional resolution from infinity to its close 0.45m focus distance. Compared to other 35mm f/1.4 lenses, it offers sharper rendering, superior chromatic aberration control, and outstanding flare resistance. Whether capturing portraits, street scenes, or close-ups, it maintains a perfect balance between sharp detail and poetic ambiance.

Superior Optics, Exquisite Details

The lens features 3 high-refractive-index (HRI) elements and 1 aspherical element to eliminate field curvature and spherical aberrations, ensuring outstanding resolution. A minimum focusing distance of 0.45m opens up creative possibilities.

Its floating element design guarantees exceptional sharpness throughout the focusing range, while the 14-blade aperture delivers smooth, rounded bokeh.
