A sister company of DZOFILM, Thypoch builds on a decade of industrial optical expertise and precision craftsmanship to create mirrorless lenses that blend character and high resolution for today's sensors.

In the spirit of honoring the past, the Eureka 50mm pays homage to the iconic collapsible design of the 1950s vintage lenses, seamlessly melding classical elegance with the resurgence of vintage aesthetics. This diminutive masterpiece excels both in visual appeal and tactile sophistication, reminiscent of a meticulously crafted work of art.

Classic Retractable Design
Compact in structure, the  Eureka 50mm measures only 2.7cm when collapsed and extends to 4.12cm during use, making it a portable companion designed for wandering artists.

Golden Focal Length with Human-Eye Perspective
Boasting a standard 50mm focal length, the lens provides a visual perspective similar to that of the human eye. With a natural and realistic depth of field, its versatility extends to various photography genres, effortlessly mastering close-up portraits, documentary storytelling, or natural landscapes.

Round and Smooth Bokeh
F2 aperture with 12-blade aperture diaphragm, the lens guarantees circular and aesthetically pleasing bokeh, creating a dreamy and poetic atmosphere.

Charming Flaring
Eureka 50mm blends contemporary coating technologies with the allure of retro optical structures, creating a harmonious symphony of vintage charm and remarkable precision.

Optical Excellence

Featuring a 6-element, 4-group typical double-gauss optical design, the Eureka 50mm incorporates cutting-edge optics. An extra-low dispersion (ED) element effectively minimizes chromatic aberration, while a high refractive index (HRI) element corrects curvature of field and spherical aberrations.
