Launched in 1998, the Contax ARIA is a the last SLR film camera by Contax. As such, it integrates the latest technology from the era, all packed in the smallest and lighest (460g) body Contax ever launched.
With its bright viewfinder, a 1/4000 top shutter speed, integrated motor drive, lightweight construction, capability of using the latest Contax TTL flashes, and multiple metering modes for all shooting styles, it checks all of the boxes.
Not designed or marketed as a professional’s camera, the Aria’s main attraction is the integration of so much capabilities in a light body. It pretty much combines everything a regular person would want in a film SLR !
