The Nikon F4 was Nikon's fourth professional SLR body, produced between 1988 and 1996. The F4s, sold here, was the next evolution of the camera, with the battery pack allowing and incredible 5.7 FPS shooting.
As Nikon's flagship body at the film, it featured top specifications including :
- Electronically controlled exposure times from 1/4000 second to 30 seconds.
- 4.4 frame per second shutting speed (5.7 FPS for F4s with the grip)
- Full support of AF-S lenses and manual-focus support of G lenses
- Autofocus sensor (up from one on the F4) with multi-segment matrix metering.
From its launch, the F4 became the world's top news and sports autofocus camera and it remains relevant today, thanks to its high-end specs, great built quality and reasonable size and it works great with every lens made from 1959 through today's G and AFS lenses.
