An STM motor delivers quick, smooth autofocus, helping you keep moving subjects in focus and capture fleeting moments.

Precision Optical Construction
All-glass optics for reliable performance that lasts, unlike plastic lenses that are more affected by temperature changes. 40mm F2.2: 11 elements in 8 groups, with aspherical, ED and HRI elements. Aspherical lens: cuts lens weight while correcting spherical aberration and distortion for greater image transparency. ED glass: suppresses dispersion and chromatic aberration for true-to-life color. HRI lens: boosts light transmission and reduces stray light for stronger contrast and depth.
Crafted in the Details
Clicked aperture ring for clear, direct control. AF/MF switch to change between autofocus and manual focus. Customizable FN button for instant AFL focus lock or a custom function. Lens hood included to block stray light. 58mm filter thread for standard filters. Dust-resistant, smudge-resistant and weather-sealed for more protection.
Daily Carry: Swift in hand, everyday in frame
Travel: record the fun along the journey. Street: capture genuine human moments. Architecture: render architecture naturally. Vlog: record naturally.
