The Pentax 6x7 is a highly regarded medium format camera which was released in 1969, and takes a unique ergonomic approach to the medium format market : it looks (and handles) much like an oversized 35mm film camera instead of the traditional "top-down" view of other MF cameras like the Mamiya RB67. It uses a wide range of Pentax/Takumar lenses and offers various finders and accessories.
Multiple versions were released over the years and this particular one is not the basic, cheaper version : it is the second generation, launched in 1976 with a mirror lock-up function. Additionally it is equipped with a TTL metered viewfinder, allowing you easier composition.
