Practical and fast zoom for everyday use. Really nice image quality with good contrast and colours, probably one of the best vintage zoom options.
It is part of the newer "NewFD" or "nFD" line of lenses from Canon, with lighter compact plastic bodies. They were produced for film cameras and can be adapted to multiple modern DSLRs and mirrorless bodies (see below). They use the same FD mount as the earlier SSC versions.
