The Canon 50mm f0.95 “Dream Lens” has captured the imagination of many photographers since its introduction in in August of 1961. 

Originally designed only for Canon 7 cameras, only around 20,000 lenses were produced, making it very rare to find in good condition today.
This lens is constructed of 7 lens elements in 5 groups, features a 10-blade aperture. It weighs a substantial 605 grams and accepts 72mm filters. 
Over the years the lens has reached a cult status and the nickname of the "DREAM LENS" due to its etheral bokeh. The bokeh is quite busy, with cat's eyes shapes and swirl. Probably the fast 50mm prime with the most recognizable, unique characher.
The Dream Lens was a feat of engineering at the time, and is still one of the most sought after lenses 60 years after. 
This particular copy has been adapted for Leica M mount with 6-bit coding. and comes with caps and dedicated Canon front filter.
