Introduced in 1978, the XG1 is designed for beginners and enthusiast. It offers aperture-priority controls with automatic metering (the camera will choose a shutter speed based on the light value and the aperture setting of the lens), and a metered-manual mode.
Shutter speed ranges from 1 to 1/1000th second, plus B, with flash synchronization at 1/60 second, and accepts film ISO speed range is from 25 to 1600.
This camera is sold with a 50mm f2.0 lens for portraits.
