The MIR 1B is a Russian lens heavily inspired from the Zeiss Flektogon 35mm of the same period. It was a very successful lens, and won the International World fair Grand Prix in Brussels in 1958, as a recognition of its optical and physical quality.
The lens has a beautiful round bokeh due to its 10-blades, and has a clickless aperture ring ideal for videographers and film-makers.
