The Canon FD 35mm f2.0 provides an excellent image quality, with good sharpness and colours in a nice compact body.
It is part of the newer "NewFD" or "nFD" line of lenses from Canon, with lighter compact plastic bodies. They were produced for film cameras and can be adapted to multiple modern DSLRs and mirrorless bodies (see below).
