Voigtländer presents the new COLOR SKOPAR 18mm F2.8 aspherical X-Mount, a wide-angle lens with manual focus that was developed specifically for the APS-C image format and harmonizes perfectly with the image sensor of the Fujifilm X camera system.
By integrating electronic contacts, the lens ensures reliable communication between the lens and the camera body. It impresses with outstanding optical performance, based on a double-sided aspherical lens and atypical partial dispersion glass. Despite its high-quality optics, the lens remains extremely compact and has a pancake-style design with an overall length of just 23.5 mm from the bayonet mount.
The COLOR SKOPAR 18mm F2.8 aspherical X-Mount offers an angle of view equivalent to 28mm in full-frame format, establishing itself as a popular standard for wide-angle lenses. This makes it ideal for snapshots and versatile photo opportunities. The narrow close-up limit of just 17 cm also opens up exciting perspectives and allows the photographer a high degree of creative freedom. The focus ring of the lens is provided with a bump that enables simple and precise control. The approximate focus point can be set effortlessly without having to look at the distance scale, making it easier to focus quickly.
10-blade aperture diaphragm for beautiful bokeh
